Chavurot

Chavurot are small, informal, social learning groups of Temple members with similar interests. To get invited, call the TBI Office at (541) 485-7218 to be put in touch with the coordinator listed below, or send them an email directly. TBI members may find the coordinators in their Temple Directory.

New! Florence Area Chavurah
The Florence Area Chavurah meets once a month at members' homes for dinner and Erev Shabbat services, as well as hosting holiday events. If you will be in the Florence area and want to join them, you are welcome. For information call Lucille Herr or Judy Schwartz.

Friends and Family
The Friends and Family Chavurah is looking for families with kids approximately 5-11 (younger and older are welcome, too) interested in making social, educational and spiritual connections with other Jewish families. For more information, or to be put on our listserve:

Interfaith Chavurah

The Interfaith Chavurah welcomes all interfaith couples in the Jewish community. Our Chavurah is a secure and supportive place to air and discuss interfaith issues, as well as a warm and friendly social group with some of the best food in town. Potluck dinners for adults are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at different members' homes with occasional family gatherings during the year.
