Rabbi Yitzhak Husbands-Hankin

Rabbi Yitzhak Husbands-Hankin assumed the position of Senior Rabbi in 2003. His service to Temple Beth Israel began in 1975 when he served as Cantor then taking on increasing responsibilities over the years serving as Religious School Director and Assistant Rabbi. He has served as TBI’s Rabbi since 1995.

Rabbi Yitzhak was ordained as Baal Tefillah by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach z'l, received his cantorial commission from the Cantors' Assembly of the United Synagogue of America, and was ordained as Rabbi by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi...

Rabbi Boris Dolin

Associate Rabbi Boris Dolin joined the staff at TBI in July 2011. He shares rabbinic duties with our Senior Rabbi, supervises the Talmud Torah and Shalhevet (Religious School) programs and works closely with our b'nai mitzvah students.

A native Oregonian, Rabbi Boris began his rabbinic journey in Eugene, working as a Talmud Torah teacher, music teacher, and youth group advisor at TBI from 1999-2001. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where he also served as the Interim Program Director of Oregon Hillel...
