TBI Special Funds

The funds listed below support the committees and programs of Temple Beth Israel. Your donations are vital to their ongoing work. We welcome your tax-deductible donation to any of our special funds.

Temple
Supports all the programs and activities of the Temple

Chevra Kadisha (Burial Society)
Provides supplies and training for the Temple’s Jewish Burial Society and financial assistance for burial plots for those in need

Community Education/Cultural Arts
Provides educational opportunities for adults through special speakers and guest educators, and promotes art and music events for the community

Corners of the Field
Supports the work of the Tikkun Olam (Social Action) Committee to provide housing and support to homeless families

Grandparent Endowment
Supports long-term capital projects for the Temple

Grounds and Maintenance
Provides funding for maintenance and enhancement of the Temple building and grounds

Kinberg Peace and Justice
Promotes causes which foster peace and justice

Kinberg Religious School Scholarship
Provides scholarship funds for TBI’s Talmud Torah (Religious School)

K'vod Ha-Teva (Honoring Nature)

Supports Temple Beth Israel's efforts to sustain and honor our living world

Library
Purchases books and supplies for the Temple library

New Building
Contributions used to build the new synagogue and Center for Jewish Life

Neve Michael Children's Village

Supports the Neve Michael Children's Village for at-risk youth in Israel

Prayer Book
Purchases prayer books for the Temple

Preschool
Supports the program and activities of the TBI Preschool

Preschool Scholarship

Provides tuition support for famillies needing assistance

Rabbi Maurice Discretionary

Used by Rabbi Maurice for charities and special causes
