What Do Volunteers Do for TBI?

They answer phones, read stories at Shabbat circle, stuff envelopes, support our computer technology, organize special events like the Dream Auction, conduct services, and more. These are only a few of the many ways that volunteers help to sustain this community we call Temple Beth Israel.

Volunteers do it all!

For reasons of privacy, TBI does not post personal phone numbers on this website; to contact the organizers listed below, look in your TBI directory, or call the TBI Office at 485-7218.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

GIFT SHOP VOLUNTEERS needed to staff the new shop. The Gift Shop is open Sundays, 9am-1pm; Wednesdays, 3:30-5:45 pm; Fridays, 10am-noon, and during special events throughout the year. Please contact Debra Gelzer.

KITCHEN COMMITTEE is seeking additional members and volunteers. Short-term projects include inventory and organizing. This is a great way to get involved in the community and doesn’t require a huge time commitment. Call Kathee Lavine for information.
