High Holy Days 5780 – Guests & Non-Members

5780/2019

Please visit our High Holy Days Schedule page for full details of services and events at TBI.

All High Holy Days services will be held in the TBI Sanctuary, 1175 E. 29th Ave., Eugene, except where noted on the schedule.

Guests and Non-Members: You are welcome for the High Holy Days!

Not a member of TBI? You are welcome to join us for any of our High Holy Days services. For planning and security purposes, please let us know you will be attending by registering below.

We are delighted that you are considering joining us for the upcoming High Holy Days. In addition to celebrating and observing these special holidays, people often use these services as a way to get acquainted with our congregation and community. We welcome you to do so.

Our members, who support our Temple year round, also absorb the overwhelming cost of our High Holy Day services (equipment rental, sound techs, security, etc.). To help defray some costs, we ask non-members who are financially able to contribute by making a donation. However, we do not want finances to stand in the way of anyone joining us for services or from participating in our community. Please contact the Temple office (541-485-7218) if you have any questions or concerns about attending services.

Other things to know about your contribution:

  • Your High Holy Day contribution may be applied towards TBI membership if you decide to join before the end of Tishrei (October 29, 2019).
  • Contributions for High Holy Days are tax-deductible and non-refundable.
  • Full time college/grad students and actively military personnel are invited to attend at no charge.
  • Reciprocity – If you are a current member at another Reconstructionist synagogue, you may attend our services at no charge. Please submit a letter on letterhead from your congregation to info@tbieugene.org stating that you are a member in good standing.

Childcare

Free childcare is available for children ages 3-8 for select services. Pre-registration is requested so that we can be sure to have enough care givers.
